In the heart of the Var and Provence regions the Domain Gymnique de la Haute Gardure is the ideal base from which to organise a tour of the region. It is situated at the cross-roads of several renowned locations: the Gorges of Verdon in the north, Grasse and its perfume industries, Cannes, Vence, Nice farther east, Saint Tropez and the Ile du Levant in the south.

| With the nudist beaches at the seaside only 35 km away, Lake Cassien 15 km away, the Domain itself is comprised of 70 hectares of wood and scrubland with ideally suited trekking trails which extend for some 250 kilometres into marked mountainbike trails. These trails wander over slopes and through typically provincial villages set high up in the mountains. In high season the centre is essentially open to families favouring meetings between adolescents and children at creative workshops and sports tournaments. Evenings of dance by theme take place at ÒLa BergerieÓ bringing everyone together in a warm and cordial atmosphere. The return to nature and the various forms of entertainment work well here. At the hottest moment of the day thereÕs no need to sound the alarm for everyone is having his siesta. Outdoor yoga sessions in the shade of the oaks while listening to the cicadas is nirvana to the stress-bound.
